An agreement has signed by brass fertilizer in calloboration with a Danish constrium led by Haldor Topsoe to construt the $ 3.5bn urea/methanol facility at Brass island in Bayelsa sate of Nigeria. The scope of the work involves designing and constructing urea, methanol and gas processing plant .

Taylor-DeJongh has been engaged as financial advisor for the project. Project management consulting for the urea/methanol plant will be performed by Engineers India (EIL). The proposed plant will produce 3,850MT/day of urea, 5,000 MT/day of methanol and 500mmscf/day of natural gas an is likely to be operational in 2018.
