The Bangladesh government monitoring committee on six fast-track projects is pleased on the progress of the large-scale projects including the construction of the Padma bridge.
PM’s Principal Secretary Abdus Sobhan Sikder told that total of 35% progress have been made in all the six fast-track projects.
The six projects ‘The Padma bridge project’, ‘Deep seaport’, ‘Metro rail’, ‘1,320MW Rampal Power Plant’, ‘1,000MW Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant’ and ‘The LNG terminal project’ are worth $15.5bn.
The committee was “satisfied” with the process of implementation of all the six fast-track projects were within the time frame of the project durations, Sikder said.
